I am as excited as this year’s Presidentially-pardoned Thanksgiving turkeys, Cobbler and Gobbler, to be included in the Grace-filled Christmas blog tour with so many awesome writers! This holiday tour is a terrific chance to pick up some great books for yourself or as gifts.
I’d like to suggest my young adult series, The Amish Bloodsucker Trilogy, for this year’s stocking stuffers!
Chosen, Shunned, & Reckoning make perfect gifts for that hard-to-buy-for teen or preteen. Or for those adults who have a little bit of kid left in them. Loaded with humor, friendship and family, Jael’s story will grab your heartstrings and make you laugh out loud.
CHOSEN (book 1) $2.99 kindle/$6.75 paperback
With Amish made stakes at hand, Jael is a vampire’s worst nightmare and ready to kick some serious bloodsucker butt. Raised in Nevada, and destined for the Loon Lake Amish Community, Jael is the Chosen One.
Her parents, forced to leave their plain and simple life to escape the clutches of the Bishop – an ancient vampire with plans to use the Community as his own personal Jamba Juice – train their daughter to continue the fight begun thousands of years earlier by another Jael, to fulfill the prophecy in the Book of the Shunned.
Soon Jael is turning sweet sixteen, and all heck will break loose.
SHUNNED (book 2) $3.99 kindle/$11.59 paperback
Leaving Nevada and her friends behind, Jael travels to the Loon Lake Amish community where she moves in with her grandparents and learns to live the plain and simple life… at least as plain and simple as she can handle. She may learn to milk a goat, but she’s definitely NOT giving up her cell phone or crossbow! And at Loon Lake High, she’s found the man of her dreams – an altar boy with access to holy water.
But to destroy the Bishop, she must first find out what his diabolical plans are for the teenagers of the community, and put a stop to him and his undead followers before it’s too late.
RECKONING (book 3) available now! $3.99 kindle/$12.59
Reckoning starts off right where Shunned ends.
Filled with vampire slaying action, new loves, old friends, and a Bishop you’d like to see crispy-fried in the sun, the third book in the trilogy will knock your socks off in a adrenaline stoked race to the end!

Author Barbara Ellen Brink and graphic artist Katharine A. Brink wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!
Good morning, Barbara! Very nice site you have here. Though the vampire genre isn’t really my forte, I have to give you kudos for a unique idea! I bet no one else has thought of a blood-sucker Amish storyline before. Split Sense sounds like a clever story too. God bless on the tour~
Thanks for stopping by, Naomi. I hope my idea is unique. I understand you may not think you like vampire fiction but this is not your average vampire fiction. It’s filled with humor, family and fun. I know many people balk at a little vampire slaying but actually it’s good for the soul:)
What an awesome blog page!!
Thanks for noticing:)
Vampire-fighting Amish! That is the most unique idea ever!!
It was definitely the most fun I’ve had writing a series:)
