REVIEW: 365 Pocket Morning Prayers (Strength and Joy to Begin Each Day)
This little book is filled with prayers that are down-to-earth, realistic struggles and sentiments that most everyone should be able to relate to. After the prayer passage, there is always a corresponding Bible verse that pulls it all together.
The prayers are numbered for all 365 days of the year and you can easily go straight through the book using it as an aid in your normal devotionals. Or you can use it topically to help when you are dealing with specific needs or problems, as each page is titled with an individual topic. Such as: A Prayer about Fear, A Prayer about Letting Go, A Prayer About Peace, etc. I like the fact that there is a handy topical index in the back of the book. It makes finding an appropriate topic fast and easy for whatever situation you are seeking help with.
The cover is attractive and made of a soft faux leather material, embossed with a palm tree. It would make a great gift for a friend or relative as well as a terrific addition to your own devotional materials.
